Strawberry Creator
Image uploader/editor for Contentful

My role
As a Product Designer I identified user problems, designed a smart solution and delivered a user-friendly experience.
About the project
A new internal tool for the content team at Strawberry. The goal was to simplify how images are uploaded, tagged, and managed, reducing duplication and making workflows faster and easier.
How I did it
My workflow started with a brief from the stakeholders, interviewing the users, brainstorm with designers from other teams. then I created a user flow and started sketching and designing for the developers to start building something for the users to test out.

The Goal was to enable all edits in the Image uploader, so in Contentful the only step left is placing the image where it belongs.

Problems and ideas
To speed up the slow uploading process, I designed a bulk upload feature.

Before, there were no thumbnails, so users often re uploaded the same image instead of finding the original.
Adding alt text in five languages for each image was also time consuming. I solved this by creating a bulk text function and adding AI generated alt text during uploads.
I also made image tagging become faster. Users could now add tags in bulk and choose from a smart searchable list instead of typing each one manually.

Before, each image had to be adjusted for five aspect ratios one by one. With the new focus point tool, users set the focus once and can preview all five versions at the same time. This makes the resizing process much faster and simpler.
This is just a brief look at the project. The full version includes more details and design insights.
